This Privacy Policy explains what information Prince Links collects, how it is used to deliver the platform, and how your creator data is handled.
Prince Links is operated by PRINCE under the princeji brand. We are committed to processing your information transparently and responsibly.
This policy applies to all visitors, registered creators, and users of our platform accessible at https://links.princeji.com.
We collect only the information necessary to provide, customize, and secure your Prince Links profile:
When you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your verified Google account email, name, and profile avatar picture. We use this to establish your account identity and manage your creator profile.
You provide custom profile information including your unique handle, display name, bio, location, published links, link badges, scheduling rules, color and theme configurations, and optional UPI ID.
When you upload profile avatars, custom link icons, or background images, files are stored securely in cloud storage (AWS S3) with total storage quota tracking.
When visitors access a public creator profile or click on a published link, we log interaction events containing the event type (page view or link click), target URL, categorical device type (e.g. mobile, desktop, tablet derived from the User-Agent), referrer domain (from the HTTP Referer header), and timestamp. We do not sell analytics data to third-party data brokers.
When a visitor voluntarily submits an enquiry through a creator's public profile, we collect their required email address and optional name and message. This data is collected solely to allow the creator to respond to the specific enquiry. We store these submissions for a maximum of 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted. This information is never used for marketing, newsletters, or sold to third parties.
When you browse our marketing pages (home, pricing, about, and login), Prince Links uses first-party anonymous product and acquisition analytics to understand site visits, referring sources (domain only, such as Google or Instagram), which page a visit started on, and which calls-to-action were used — so we can improve the product. This is measured with two random, anonymous identifiers kept in your browser's local storage: a persistent visitor identifier (so we can tell how many distinct people find us, not just how many tabs they open) and a session identifier that rotates after 30 minutes of inactivity (so a pause doesn't fragment one visit into many). These are not cookies, are never derived from your identity (no IP, email, or fingerprint), and are shared with no one. We store only one-way hashed forms of these identifiers, together with the page path, coarse device category, and optional campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) from the link that brought you here. On signed-in pages, the same analytics records whether you reached your dashboard, completed signup, opened Billing, or started a checkout — using only a one-way hash of an internal account reference (never your email, name, or sign-in credentials) so we can learn which visits lead to real signups and real purchases. Payment success is recorded exclusively by our payment provider's verified webhook — never by this analytics. We do not store your IP address, email, name, or full browser fingerprint in this analytics, and these records are automatically deleted after 90 days.
Prince Links utilizes secure, encrypted HTTP-only session cookies strictly required for user authentication and account access via NextAuth.

Online paid checkout for Pro subscriptions is currently in technical preparation. When paid billing is activated:
Account details, profile content, and uploaded media are retained for as long as your account remains active on the platform.
Analytics event records are preserved in our database to ensure that continuous 90-day and 365-day trend reporting is immediately available when an account upgrades to Pro.
Self-service account deletion is available from your Account settings page in the dashboard. Deletion is immediate and irreversible — there is no recovery or grace period.
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from active platform databases:
Handle reservation: Your public handle (profile URL) is reserved for 30 days after deletion before it can be claimed by a new account.
Limited retention: Certain minimal payment-event and provider-event records (such as billing webhook ledger entries) may be retained where required for payment integrity, dispute resolution, security audit, or applicable legal obligations. These records do not contain your profile content or media. We do not control the data retention practices of external providers such as Google, AWS, or Razorpay for records held on their own systems.
Anonymous acquisition analytics: the first-party site analytics described in Section 2.F is not linked to your account identity and cannot be deleted through account deletion because it contains no email, name, or credential linking it to you. Signed-in funnel observations (dashboard reached, signup completed, Billing opened, checkout started) carry only a one-way hash of an internal account reference for aggregate conversion reporting; clearing your browser's site data removes the visitor and session identifiers, and the anonymous records are automatically deleted after 90 days.
We implement industry-standard organizational and technical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission is 100% immune to risk.
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal account information at any time. Self-service account deletion is available from the Account settings page in your dashboard.
